Default need help with HB 1197 fish finder

Got in a hurry today and thought i had already downloaded the 4.750 update plus didn't even realize my sd card was still in finder. When i turned finder on it flashed "do you want to update to 4.750 and i made a mistake and push the arrow to yes instead of no. As soon as i did it i knew it wasn't set to proper default setting and even tho it said do not abort i quickly unplugged the finder hoping i did it quick enough so finder would discard the warning and finder would be back to normal but it wasn't quick enough. To make a long story short now my finder when i turn it on flashes loading and you can hear a clicking sound but it does nothing else. My question can someone advise me how to undo the problem i caused the finder or who can i sent it to to correct the problem. Hoping it didn't hurt my finder. Someone please advise. Thank you.

Here are instructions for restarting the HB unit using the "Bootstrap" mode..

How to Restore Your Unit using the Bootstrap Mode

I've never had to use it myself so I don't know anything about it...

You could post questions right into that thread (you will have to register) and I'm sure one of those guys would be glad to help if you need help with the bootstrap mode..

I would try installing the SD card with the update file on it again.
If that doesn’t help, then try the bootstrap method as described.
If that does not help, then it’s a trip back to Humminbird…
