    Wanting to purchase the HB798cSI for the front of my boat, but will the transducer work properly and will the SI work properly when mounted to the trolling motor? Thanks

    Yes, it will work. However, every time you turn your motor the SI picture will be momentarily disrupted. Bothers some others it doesn't. In the wind when the motors turned more, you guessed it, the screen will change way more and can become difficult to read.
