HB 788 ci HD update

when updating the software, the directions say to return the unit back to the "default settings" before installing the update. Just what does putting the unit back to the default settings do? Does it erase all of my preferences for sensitivity, scroll speed, etc., or what ??

Yes. It resets the menus back to the setting it had when it came from the factory.

I have found that some of the updates are so miner that it's not worth pushing the default button.
