Default Hummingbird 798 - entering lat and long manually

I have a Hummingbird 798HD with Side Scan. The Dept of Natural resources has placed several fish attractors around my localbanghead lake and has published the latitude and longitude of these attractors. On my old Lowrance I just scrolled through the map until I came to the coordinates and then hit the icon button and it marked the location on the map. I don't have a clue as to how to do this on the 798. Anyone have experience with this unit. I don't mind doing this manually so I don't need instructions on how to download the coordinates to an SD card......etc. Any help would be appreciated,=.

There are 3 ways to do this...

    1. Enter the waypoints into HBPC, upload them to a SD card, upload into the unit...

    2. Power up the unit into "normal" or "forced Simulator" mode...
    a. Go into the main menu system under the "Nav" tab...
    b. Cursor down to "Waypoints"...
    c. Cursor over to "Create"...

    3. Power up the into "normal" or "forced Simulator" mode...
    a. Open any chart view with your lake showing on the map...(may have to zoom out to see your lake, activate and move cursor to your lake, then zoom back in)
    b. Hit it the 4way cursor to activate the cursor (an information bar should open with lat and lon info)
    c. Move the cursor around on the map until you see the waypoint lat & lon coordinates in the info bar..
    d. Hit "Mark" on the unit face....
