It's pretty easy to do and you can find information on how to do so online or write / email / call the manufacturer. The plugs are pretty easy. You can purchase the male / female pair at any boat store or online (even Amazon carries them). You can swap either side, it's up to you. The reason the plugs are different is to prevent an unknowing person from plugging a 12v item into a 24v circuit. Both plugs will handle the voltage. The amperage is more of the concern, but both should be close in amperage. The most critical part is setting up your battery bank properly.
