USBattery makes a dang good 31 series, they are pricey but they will last. A WalMart 29 series will do for a cranking batt and shouldnt need jumping off during the day of fishing.
    Good luck.

If you goto the Group 31 interstate they will have the highest amp hr rating but expensive. From everything I have read you could expect to get 6 to 8 hrs of pulling cranks. I'm surprised you got 4 out of those 27's pulling a boat that big. Sounds like you need a 27 for cranking and minimum 29 or 31 for trolling motor. Walmart has best price/ warrant on 29's and they hold up pretty good. Like Rees said if you want really good those US Battery are tough to beat.

29 and 31 are the same size for all practical purposes. For maximum run time, go with the highest RC you can find. In 29/31 you should be able to get 205 to 210 minute RC easily. Best deal is the Everstart Maxx 29. Best battery is the Trojan SCS-225 at 225 minutes RC.

Depending on which 27 you have now, you have 160 to 180 minute RC now.
