Is it worth getting the transducers to be able to use the full 8000 watts ptp? how much will it help .

That transducer (XTH-9-DB-35-KWT) is only used for very deep (3,000 feet) 2D sonar readings. It has no Side Imaging or Down Imaging capabilities.
