Default HB 798 HD SI Transducer

Good Morning, I'm in the process of purchasing the above unit and I'm going to go ahead and upgrade to the HDSi-180-t transducer. Do I just call HB tech support when I get my unit in and tell them I want to upgrade to this transducer? I assume not to open the transducer pack with my unit once I receive it. I was just curious how the whole upgrade process worked. Also, anyone have what the price for the upgrade is? Thanks for the help!

Are you wanting the HDSI 180 T that you mount on the transom, the trolling motor, or the one that you drill a hole through the bottom of the boat?

    Thank you,

    Deborah @ Humminbird

To exchange the compact SI transom mounted transducer to the HDSI transom mounted transducer the difference in cost between the two transducers with shipping is $100.00. (If you are in AL/GA/MI/MN/WA/ or WI, you would also have sales tax)

You would return your new and unused transom mounted compact SI transducer with the hardware to

    Humminbird
    Attn Exchange Dept
    678 Humminbird Ln
    Eufaula AL 36027

Please include your name, address, telephone number and payment (credit card, money order, or cashier's check) along with the transducer. Exchanges take 5-7 working days to process plus the return shipping time to you.

    Thank you,

    Deborah

Great! That is exactly what I was wondering. Thank you for the help and quick replies! I will make sure to get it right over once I receive my unit. Thank you again!
