    Default Terrova pedal question

I have a terrova pedal that I have not used much but would like to use when fishing docks or brush. The buttons left/right, autopilot, constant, and speed all work fine, but the foot pedal (where you place your foot ) will not allow you to turn the head left/right. I took the pedal apart last night and put it back together. It worked until I snapped the cover back on that holds all the pieces together and then the left/right foot pedal would not work again. Any idea why or how to fix? I know I need to have the cover on there or the pieces will go everywhere, but not sure why it is not working with the cover. Thanks in advance for any help or insight!

sounds like you may have a broken contact inside the pedal. Did any small pieces fall out when you took it apart, or notice any broken edges? My old MG on/off on the foot pad had a rubber cover go bad (dry rot), and in turn, the TM would not start up until I replaced that rubber cover over a small switch. Contact MK and maybe they can help.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I believe the foot pedal uses magnet proxy switches. Take it apart and look for something out of place or broken.
