    Default Bilge Pump Trips Breaker


    Anyone have any ideas as to why my bilge pump trips it's breaker after about 30 seconds?

    How old is it? Chances are the motor is bad or something is lodged in the impeller

    I was going to guess something stuck in the impeller. I had that happen a few times until I put a screen over the inlet.

    The boat was purchased brand new in August. I'll see if I can find something stuck in there. If not I guess I'll deal with a warranty claim.
