    Default Anybody made a portable HDS with LSS1?


    Anybody packaged both the HDS and LSS1 in a "box" and powered with a battery less than 24 size.I have my boat which I take to the Atlantic and Gulf coast, way to far off shore for it size, and lakes without motor restrictions. Then my 2 local lakes I fish 2 different boats. It is important in my choice of units to have 1 that can be moved between the 3 fairly easy and economically. I expect that on my boat I will have to lay the base network and mounting HW. When I go to the other boats it would be best to have a free standing unit.

    I've never had a reason to have a portable. You may have to be the innovator on this one.
