Thumbs up Side Imaging on my Jon Boat ........

Well, with blueball's help, I finally got started on installing Lowrance stuff on my Johnny. We kinda placed things around. Open boats don't give you many options for mounting stuff.

I decided to install another battery up front. The front seat is atop a storage box, so I will mount the battery and lss1 inside this storage area. I already have the NMEA2000 bus wired and have the LCG4000 available.

This means a trip to town.

I am spending time at the lake and it just too windy for me to try fishing.

Blueball was fascinated with the "trunk" inside the bed of my Ridgeline.
Handy rig it is. It holds a lot of stuff, including the spare.

You not worried about gasses escaping during charge and eating the electricals on the lss1?

The HDS7 is GPS/ sometimes SI. The HdS8 is DI/2d with di overlay on the 2d. Networking into a LCX27 at backseat for 2d/gps functions. Lots of stuff for a 14 Jon Boat.
