Talking Any wisdom on the new Lowrance Mark 4 Fishfinder/Chartplotter?

I just got a Bass Pro gift card for my retirement. I was looking at a Lowrance Mark 4 for $199.00. Any comments good or bad would be welcomed. I'm using an Eagle Cuda ($79.00) now. I want to go to the GPS. Fishing mostly Brest Bay, Monroe, MI, in Lake Erie. The unit looks great I have just never owned a Lowrance.

I believe you will find GPS chartplotting to be a huge advancement in your favor...

The ability to mark (and return to) productive fishing spots is invaluable...

And the advantage of safe navigation in less than ideal conditions is also a benefit of GPS chartplotting...

I feel that color/SI/DI and other advanced features are just toys and fun to play with...but GPS has probably increased my catch ratio more than any other "toy" technology I have...
