998 HB with 2 tranducers?????

I have a 798SI mounted at console and thinking about replacing it with a 998SI. I will use it for the console and to view from front seat, the question is can I get an extra transducer and some kind of split cable or switch to put a transducer on the TM for the 2D and have the Side image on the transom ? In other words use the SI from back and down image and 2D from TM...

Yeah, that's not a problem. I've got the SI transducer and a high speed transducer hooked up to my 997 by way of an HB transducer switch (bascially, an A/B switch). Just go to the HB web site and you'll see it. You'll have to drill a hole in the console to mount the little switch, but it's not a big deal.

You need to look for the TS3 Transducer Switch. However you will be able to select between having 2D/Si/Di sonar from the transom or just 2D sonar from the TM.
