I have been studying as I am getting ready for an install but figure it is simpler to just ask the experts here. Got an 898c SI also bought the XNT 9-20-T as recommended by HB for my high speed transducer as well as the splitter AS Sibd Y as well as the interlink to link to my new 858c DI i have coming. This is my first SI unit. I got a Lowe ST195 also have a mounting plate from Cabelas. It is my understanding that the XNT 9-20-t should be a little lower than the SI tranducer? How would you guys mount these? 1 on each side of the motor or could both be mounted on the same 12 inch plate as supposedly the 9-20 will only kick in at high speeds. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. I could post a pic of the back of the boat if you like.
