Contact Brian @ BBG Marine he can make suggestions.
Personally I would put 2 Lowrance HDS Units w/LSS1 to add the side/down scan and link together with ethernet cable. Others will recommend HB, I believe you can link their units also.
Both companies make great units and Brian has good prices and can answer questions and may recommend other options. He's also a sponser of this site.

I HAD a HB-1198-SI on Console and a HB-898-SI on the Bow. Was very UNHAPPY with the images I got on the Side Imaging. Had a HB Pro-Staffer come with me on a trip to put in the water, to adjust yhe units, and was still UNHAPPY. HB had very good Customer Service, answered and helped everytime I asked them to about helping with the Units. But my brother had 2 Lowrance HDS-5's on his boat, a friend with a HDS-7, and they could see more and clearer images then I could on my 10.4" screen Hummingbird. After 4-5 months of adjusting and doing everything posssible, I sold them. Not saying that they didn't work, but just wasn't as clear as my brothers HDS-5, and a friends HDS-7.

Bought me a Lowrance HDS-10 for Console, and a HDS-7 for Bow and now if there is something there, I can tell what it is. Images much clearer. Lowrance is not as user friendly as HB, but once I learn to work my way through the menu's it is not a issue. I liked a few of the features that HB had, but the bottom line was about seeing. The cost of the Lowrance Units + the LSS-1 was a little more in price, but it was worth it in better images. I am a SERIOUS enternet shopper, and got my complete Lowrance set-up for $200 more than my HB set-up. It was well worth it. Now I am HAPPY.
