The HB website doesn't list a 581i DI.....

It only lists a 581i Combo.. Which is 2d / GPS...

Can you provide a link to that sale so we can determine if it's a misprint...??

I went ahead and ordered it. If it is what it says it is, it sounds like a good deal. It appears to be the 581i WITH down imaging capabilities. My only worry is that it could be DI only without 2D, but that wouldn't make much sense. Supposed to be here by the end of the month, I guess we'll see. I like the GPS portion of it.

And no, I couldn't find any info on Humminbird's website either, pretty strange.

Maybe Greg will come on line today and tell about this 581i DI....

The image in the ad actually shows "Down Imaging" printed on the unit...Hmmm

It's interesting to me. They've made it almost impossible to find it through a search on Cab. website. Wondering if it was a bit of a typo and they'd rather not sell the unit at that price.

One thing to note if you are considering it is that (I think) the wider 60 degree sonar ONLY returns fish ID and not the bottom structure. I could be wrong on that though.

Cabela's has boobooed somewhere. You can't order it on line because of system issues. You have to call their 800 number.

Just called Cabela's. That is the correct price and they have quite a few in stock. Looks like it should be a pretty good unit. The unit does have 2D and down imaging. 60/20 degree transducer.

Unless I am wrong I think Greg recently answered a question about some of these units that are built exclusively for Cabellas. I can't remember what unit it was but was numbered similar to this one and was sold in store only.
