Minn Kota onboard charger questions

I have 3 quick questions about Minn Kota's onboard chargers.

1. I found the one that I am looking for on Amazon $50 cheaper than any of the regular retailers. Does it matter who the retailer is as far as the warrenty goes?

2. Will the Minn Kota extentions void any warrenty?

3. I am going to need to mount the charger so that it is vertical. Can this cause any problems?

Amazon is an authorized seller of MK products and they have been good to me with warranty issues in the past, I dealt directly with Amazon and they handled the MK end of things while they shipped me a new trolling motor. The Minnn Kota bank extenders will not void the warranty. Vertical mounting will not change anything performance or reliability-wise; it works best in many applications.
