Default Fish finder question with terrova

My *new* boat is a 2004 Bass Tracker Team165
After having purchased a HB 597ci hd di with the transducer mounted on my trolling motor, the trolling motor went out. I decided to replace it with a terrova US2 with Ipilot. Since the down imaging won't work with the US2 in the terrova I'm debating the best corse of action. I have mounted the 597's transducer to the transom with the display at the console.

    My next options are:

    1. I can rig a cheaper dual beam HB at the bow.
    2. I can put the 597 on a Ram Mount and pivot it to face the bow (hard to reach from front seat) and use a transducer switch (of course no DI)

    What is best option?
Also I've been hearing about networking displays. Is this an option or something only available for high end fishfinders?

I would go with #2, as that is what I do, but I don't have DI nor a US2 on my terrova. I mounted the xducer for my front FF on the transom to avoid damaging the ducer wire since the Terrova can rotate over 360* with an IP option. I would install a US2 compatible Ff on the front as well to take advantage of the TM you have as well.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
