trolling motor speed control rod??

Somewhere on here I saw thread where someone posted a picture of their trolling motor with a rod added to the speed control, but I can't remember who it was, and now I can't find the thread. If anyone knows what I'm talking about could you please let me know where it was located? Or if you read this and you know how I might can accomplish the same thing, please let me know. It looked like a great way to save your back and some aggravation. Thanks.
