? on humming bird 110 fishin buddy?

thinking about getting 1 for a dock on a pond i fish and was wondering if any 1 has ever used 1 off of a dock and how do u hook it up. the last part may sound DUM bit never messed with 1. NEED HELP

The Fishin’ Buddy units are self contained in that the unit is built onto the transducer. Add some AA sized batteries to power it and off you go. It has a built on clamp that is normally used to secure the Fishin’ Buddy to the gunwale of a boat. You should be able to secure it to the side of a fishing dock and use it as if you were on a boat though.
