    Default Humminbird Mounting Question


    I have a 565 unit in the front of the boat with the transducer mounted on the trolling motor. Going to change to 575 DI after the wife gives it to me on Christmas. Can I just change the transducer out and use the old base and just put the new screen on the old base or do I need to change it out.

    The base and power cord are the same for the 500 and 700 series units.

    Yep, swap the transducer and put the new Humminbird DI unit on the mount and you are ready to go!
