    Default Quadrabeam TD on HB788

Is anyone running a 788 with a quadbeam 'ducr How does it compare with SI. Would like to get sonar with wider coverage in 20' or less of water than a dual beam shows, but don't really want to get a whole new unit. Pictures would be nice if you have any.

The Quad Beam xducer will give you coverage out to the sides about equal to your depth (20ft deep -20ft out to each side)

Your 788 is not capable of SI...(might be a usable reason to upgrade...Thumbs Up...)
Just for info tho...the SI coverage is advertised to be 240ft out to each side....(I've found 100ft to each side as about max)

Thanks for the information! Looks like it will be put the 788 on the TM and a SI on the transom.
