have ya'll seen or heard about the new lowrance gen2 hd units?

supposedly they are the latest and greatest, if i was thinking about ordering a regular hd i think i would check the new ones out before i pulled the trigger, bass pro is supposed to have them instock by mid dec. prices are about the same too. guess i missed out as i just ordered a humminbird 898 about an hour before hearing about this. just giving ya'll a heads up.

Anything electronic, you are going to get one upped in a very short time. Once I buy something I try not to look at other new products. You will only find yourself saying I should have waited.
