    Lowrance HDS operating temperature is 5°F to 130°Fper another site, but no official source given................

    I take mine off & keep them in the house !!

    Shrooms ... most battery articles will tell you to fully charge your batteries at least once a month, during non-use times, just to keep them from freezing & bursting and extend their life-span. I always bring my batteries in, during the Winter storage times & recharge them once a month ... and I've usually had my WM batteries last for ~4-5yrs.

    I usually move the boat from the barn to the house car garage, ask the wife move her truck to the barn so I can park my truck next to my boat, She always says NO. it's get cold in the car shed but not real bad.....

    Hardly ever gets below the teens at night here but my units will be in the house once it gets that cold. I aint fishing when it's that cold.:rolleyes:
