    Default 898 versus 998

i know this has been discussed before but.......
Is it worth the extra $$$$$$
Im getting close to my savings limit for the 898 but in the extra inch of screen size worth it, I may wait and get the 998

Here's my two cents worth: When it comes to Side-imaging, always get the biggest screen you can afford.

One should always consider the following when trying to decide SI screen size....

On SI....Structure shows as approximately 1/4 the size as the same structure would show on 2/d or DI...

On my 1197....A brush pile that shows as the size of a golfball on 2/d will show as the size of a quarter on SI...
On a 898... That same brushpile would as the size of a quarter on 2/d but only show as the size of kidney bean on SI....
