Even though they've been discontinued by Lowrance, they're still out there ... but, the best prices I've seen are on eBay. Something like $300 tyd for a new one and around $190 (current bid) for a used one. Have not seen one advertised for sale in the Personal Classifieds of this site, so I have no idea what price a member owner would ask. It is possible that some member has one and would sell it ... but, you'd have to put a WTB (want to buy) post in the personal classifieds forum and wait to see if someone replies.
If you don't need GPS & still want a 5" screen and Down Imaging .. check out the Lowrance Mark 5X DSI unit (but, understand that it's a greyscale unit ... not color). And if you want a 5" screen, no GPS, and just a 2d broadband unit (83/200kHz) then look at the Mark 5X Pro unit. Lowrance retails these two units at under $200 ... so you should be able to find them for less by searching for them by model description (mark 5x pro or mark 5x dsi).

Thanks. I found one new for 300 I think Ill jump on it. They also have the same model in a 4 inch screen with map card and cover for 200 If I didn't have these old eyes I would buy it.
I also have the option of the new HB Helix DI GPS for about the same price
If you're going to put it on your Trolling Motor:
It may or may not come with this product, but if it don't ... here's as cheap a price on it as I've seen : http://www.cabelas.com/product/Lowra...3142084&rid=20
Makes mounting the torpedo shaped transducer easier, and it won't be sticking out where it can get busted up should you ram a stump !!
Here's what it looks like on mine :

Wondering if there is somewhere I could get a map card for Lowrance elite5 dsi for Missouri Lakes at very good price? Not really sure what to get if someone could help me I would appreciate it please
FM ...... you might try and post a WTB (want to buy) post in the Personal Classifieds forum. I see sd map cards for sale & WTB on there, now & then. May or may not be the latest version, but if you're needing contour overlays on your map screen ... an old version would be better than nothing.
It would have to be a micro sd card 2GB max memory ... probably a Navionics brand ... either the Gold, Navionics Plus, or HotMaps card ... South version.
OR ...
Cabela's has the Navionics Hot Maps Premium card on sale for $120 .... and Amazon.com has several deals that run cheaper than that : 500 Service Unavailable Error
I don't have a map/chart card for my unit ... so I have no experience with them. Just posting what I could find after a quick search online.

Thanks for the info! Have another question on the update3.6, Update has Sensitivity on it? It didn't have that before right? I have never seen it..
I don't really know. I'd have to look on my unit and see. As far as I know, there was only one update ... and the only thing on it that got my attention was the ability to split the screen top/bottom, rather than the side/side split screen.

I was under the impression that "sensitivity" was auto-adjusted by the unit's program or was static ... and couldn't be adjusted by the operator. I'll have to check & get back with you. But, if you're talking about "Surface Clarity" or "Noise Rejection" settings as sensitivity ... they've always been there. There is no mention of "Sensitivity" settings in the 2011 Operation Manual that I printed out from the Lowrance website.
