Well that's good to know.
All I want is my home lake with 1ft contours so its not worth the money to pay almost $200 for 1 lake map.
Sure wish I had that one file.

Thanks for all the work and 65 pages of post. I just bought an E5DSI for my little 14' boat and used it once and had several of the issues described in the first several post. Im use to my Lowrance global map stacked on top of a 100C color unit and was not impressed with the E5DSI. So I will play with the contrast and look at the white background as well as switching fro 455 to 800 Khz to improve picture quality. I also tried to manually input some GPS cords and it told me I entered them wrong and needed to fix them. So its off to GPS coordinate converter to fix that issue. May go buy a 2gb micro card for screen shots if I get the other issues fixed.
Flint, I may be wrong but I was thinking you could only use a 1 gig SD card. Maybe CP can verify for sure.
Thanks Woodworker, I checked again and everybody is saying 2gb. I just got my cords converted to GPS format now to go plug them in. What is kind of neat about putting them in the converter is it shows you on a Google map where they are supposed to be so you can see if it is somewhere you even care to fish.
Its 2gig max
Good luck finding a 2 gig micro sd..... Went to every store in town - ended up on Amazon.... Let me know if you do find one - others may want to know where as well... why didn't they go with a 4 gig - everyone has them...... :dono... looking forward to hearing how you make out with your E5DSI....
