    Default gps coordinates

I have a HB 798. Is there any way to enter a gps coordinate into this unit and get directions to that coordinate?

    Hit "Menu" twice

    Go to "Navigation" tab

Select ""Create" from drop down list

Use cursor to create wp coordinates (very user un-friendly)

    Click "Save"

Hit "Exit" until you back all the way out of the menus

On the unit face click the "GOTO" button

choose the wp you just created

    Hit "Enter"

I probably missed something...but I think you will find it easier to create wp's from scratch in HB PC and then load them onto a SD card and import them into the head unit...

You can also move the cursor to the same coordinates and use the MARK button to save a waypoint, but manually entering in the waypoints either on the unit or through HumminbirdPC are the only ways to do this. If you have more than just a few waypoints you may want to consider importing them in HumminbirdPC and uploading them to an SD memory card and installing them that way. How many do you have and are these in an electronic format like from Google Earth, off a web page or maybe in a document or spreadsheet that you have saved on your computer?
