    Default 596C HD DI Sonar/Fishfinder

    Will this work? I want to mount a transducer on my trolling motor and am questioning what transducer and mounting adapter should I use. I want the transducer used to be compatible with my 597Ci HD DI Sonar/Fishfinder and perform the same as the transom mounted unit.

    This transducer is listed for your 597ci HD DI....
    XNT 9 DI T

    This TM adapter kit is listed for your 597ci HD DI...
    AD XTM 9 :: Humminbird

    Are you planning on using the transom Xducer & a separate TM Xducer on the same head unit...??

    Yes, my intentions are to use the same head with the transom and trolling motor txdcrs by disconnecting from the cockpit and reconnecting in to a forward mount and vice-versa,,,, Thanks very much for your prompt reply and wishing you a VERY GOOD FUTURE FISHING SEASON.....

    With this setup (moving the head unit front and back) should not need the switch that I mentioned ...because you physically moving the head unit forward and aft is making the switch unnecessary....
