MK Extended Warranty

Just purchased a Terrova and Ipilot seperately but w/in a week of each other. In the paperwork for the TM there was an offer to purchase an extra 2 years full manufacturers warranty, no deductible, etc. I'm usually not a fan or believer of extended warranties, but do have some $$ tied up in this deal. Has anyone purchased the extended warranty and needed it ? Just wondering....

i'd like to hear about this too as i just got one myself, i did call a local trollingmotor repair shop who usually has refurbs for sale and he said he rarely had anyone bring in a terrova. as of mid oct this year he hadn't worked on a single one this year. i used to think the old push pull cables were the way to go but he said that is what he replaces the most often.
