Default Humminbird: same head unit in two locations

I wanted to use same GPS unit both at console. And at front of boat when
locating waypoints. Called Humminbird they had the answer. Found what I needed on Amazon.com for $85.65. US3 switch, PC10 power cord, MSM base.
Lucky me my 80th birthday is in May 8th.

I did that for a while (gps only at certain times of year) but I also had a gps antenna up front. Remember the unit will show your location at the antenna. You prolly won't be satisfied with that unless you just want to get in the general area. In my case I had another depth finder without gps next to it with the xducer on the trolling motor.

I did that on a previous boat, but I just had two bases and an internal ant. unit. Worked fine.
