So I cut it and crimped it back together, but it's acting weird with wacky readings. Goes from 29ft to 365ft. Temp isn't working and when it does it's way off. So my question is, is it permanently messed up or should I just cut and recrimp it? Maybe silicone the ends of the crimp?? Thank you!!
