I'm about to install my new Terrova and I know that it is going to stick out over the edge of the boat when stowed. Also it may be in the way of my rod holders. My question is: After installation can I then cut the shaft to the correct length so that it wont overhang too far and be out of the way of my holders? I know that I may have to contact Minn Kota to make sure it wont void my warranty. If anyone has encountered these same issues let me know. Thanks, Dan
