When marking a waypoint, what speed is recommended as the best way to most accurately mark your waypoints?

    1) moving slowly over it and marking the waypoint
    2) holding your boat as steady as possible over the waypoint when marking it
    3) go 2-3 mph over it and marking it as you cross over it

all of the above will work just fine, normally I use the cursor on my depth finder and put the cross on the top of the mark and make a way point that way, gets you a good waypoint.

Set your scroll speed to your boat speed, put your cursor on it and fire away.

I find that my brushpile waypoints are more accurate if I place my cursor on the point where the brushpile attaches to the lake bottom...
