Anbody download HB version 5.7 for 898 yet?

I just tried and the unit looks to be loading it then it restarts and asks if I want to load the new 5.7 software. Just keeps recycling. Anybody else have problems?

Jt..did you follow these instructions when you tried to update...??

How do I download Software to my HB Unit using MMC/SD card?

It is very important to follow the instructions 1 by 1 to alleviate possible download errors...

Did you put the update on an empty formatted SD card...??

Does the SD card have a "Lock" slide switch on it...??

Did you "restore defaults" before update...??

Did you insert card with the unit powered up...??

Did you answer NO to the abort question? It comes up in RED. If you say, YES, it will abort the installation.

By the way, I did install it this past weekend, but haven't had it on the water to check out.

The only thing different from the instructions was I installed the sd card prior to powering on. I will try other way to see if it is different. Thanks for the responses!

You can also try loading an older version software to see if that clears it up or not. Just make sure there is only one version of software on the memory card when you do so.

I think you just hit the jackpot Greg. I had just recently put 5.50 on and did not erase it before adding 5.7!Doh
