    Check all your cabeling. With that circuit breaker getting hot it sounds like a loose or dirty connection.

    You are correct. From the manufacturer, with the PDV2, the foot pedal is disconnected when I-Pilot is hooked up. The switch bow enables both to be hooked up and you select which one you want to use. I use I-Pilot for trolling and foot pedal when manuvering thru stumps/trees and such. Hope this helps.
