    Default portable power adaptor for HB 798

    Where can I find a power adaptor that I can use in the house to power up my unit?

    I think walmart has these....
    Coleman - 110-Volt Power Supply For Coleman Thermoelectric Coolers -=

    You will also need an extra power cord from HB....
    PC 11 :: Humminbird

    Cut the cigarette lighter plug off the Coleman power supply and relace with the power cord from HB....

    NOTICE...Don't forget to install an inline fuse in the positive wire.....

    Check the output current/power of that adapter as it may or may not be able to source enough current to run the lager display units.

    Greg...for those looking into this....am I correct in remembering that the adapter needs to be a 1 amp minimum...??

    Depending on which model Humminbird unit you want to run off of it and also in what mode you want to run it in: than a 1 Amp power adapter may or may not be big enough. For most of the units that we have produced, if running in the Simulator mode you will be okay with a 1 Amp adapter.
