Default First trip with HB 898

It sure did help to use the simulator a lot before hitting the water...I think I did pretty well for the first trip..Marked brush under docks today..Got some good side and down imaging..Pretty cool...I was going to take a few pictures but need to get a SD card for the right slot..I also need to study a little more on how to capture screen shots..

A couple of things that I have come accustomed to with Garmin I did not see on the HB chart screens..

    1) No True North Arrow..

    2) No GPS signal meter for 2D, 3D or Enhanced...

These things might be in a menu that I missed..

Overall I was real pleased..No TM interference, clear picture, and good GPS reception...

This is how mine is set-up:::I spend most all of my fishing time at the trolling motor..

Love your setup. Just got my 788 DI in today. Hooked it up and took it out this afternoon... Love it... The side imaging is next on the list...
