    Can someone tell me what these are for? The connectors and cable were in my 898 packaging..

    The Y cable in the 2nd pic is used to connect accessories, weather sense module, interlink module, external GPS puck, ect. Not sure but the other parts look to be cable ends, for custom cable or replacements. Thumbs Up

    One for sure is a dummy end. It's used to protect the connections if not in use.

    They are dummy plugs to keep the back of the HB waterproof.

    Yep, what they said. You put them in your connector collector that screws into the back of the unit.

    I believe I put one in the power plug and one on the y cable.

    Those are cable seeds. You plant them and watch them grow for about three months and they sprout into full fledged Humminbird accessories! LOL! Rofl

    No, those are dummy plugs so that you can cover up the unit connectors to keep water (especially salt water) off them while the unit is in use.
