Default Antenna Mast Question...HB 898 SI

I would like to raise my antenna about 10"..Attached is a picture of the antenna base with 1 x 14 threads.. I can't find any fittings PVC or metal that will fit these threads..Has anyone used this base and an antenna stem(mast)? If so where did you get your parts?

    Thanks for any help,

I think these are not pipe threads but standard threads. Find a stanard 1 inch bolt and it should fit it.
I wish it was pipe thread it would make it a lot easier.

Not sure how tall it is but I used a RAM mount to get my GPS off the deck.

That is a UNF fine thread. It is a standard antenna thread.

The extension poles and mounts for VHF antennas use the same thread. We have just ordered ours from a marine supply store.
