Hello all.

I have an older Lowrance fish finder on my bow. The main wire (not the coiled wire) but the single wire that connects to the transducer is essentially pulled in two pieces.

Is it possible to buy a new wire for that transducer and if so, how difficult is it to crack open the transducer and replace the wire? Finally, are there any secret tips on wrapping that new wire around the shaft of the trolling motor (my motor is an older Minnkota AutoPilot)?
