I would like to run 4 batteries on my 24volt trolling motor. Can someone give me a drawing of how to do this?
Thanks

just out of curiosity why not just run 2 12v high amp (marine)batteries instead of the 4? I would be less weight and a simpler set-up?
I pull crankbaits at 1.5 mph and the two batteries just don`t hold up all day. I have seen other guys with 4 and they can run all day. I only get about 6 hrs now and I hope these should last as long as needed.

Jeff, I have just got a new 24 volt 80 # Thrust Terrova I-Pilot. It is my first 24 volt trolling motor. How many hours will I be able to troll in calm conditions pulling jigs a .7 to .9 mph? My boat is a RANGER ANGLER 1760. Thanks.
All trolling motors and batteries are different. I would say 7 to 8 hours. I am pulling 1.5 mph in a 21ft Procraft bass boat and I can get 7 to 8 on calm water. When the wind gets up its a different story. My boat weighs around 1850 before you fill up the livewell and not counting the 50 gal of gas.

Thanks. I fish The Slabmaster Tournament Trail in Georgia, Florida, Alabama and equipment failure is not an option. Do you pull crankbaits all the time? I have never pulled them.
Just when the weather gets hot. They are starting on cranks here on Pickwick now. I just pull during June, July, and Aug. This they seem to be starting early.

Will 2 extra batteries make that much difference? Total of 4
