GPS Waypoints transfer???

I give up!!! Can't get the files to convert. Handheld has a microsd card where Idownloaded maps. Could this be causing problems?

Did you download your waypoint data to the microSD memory card? If so, install it on your computer and send me a copy of the waypoint file. I think on a Garmin this would the a file with the *.gdb or *.mps file extension. I can convert it for you and e-mail it back.

I worked on this last night for a couple of hours. When I got to the point of converting the waypoints they never showed up as a gpx file. I have a micro sd card in my hand held that has maps on it. Could this be causing me problems?

I am sorry I missed your e-mail above. I tried to load the waypoints to an sd card. Don't think it worked.

If you have a micro card then go to the store and buy an adapter for it and then you can use it like a regular SD card. That's what I have in my cell phone and it makes it easy to transfer pics to my computer.
