    the water tightness is still an issue. I sent back an HDS8 on June 6th because it quit working after fishing in the rain. It would continue to turn itself on and off and never get past the blue Lowrance start up screen. They deemed it a bad unit and I found out today that the units are on backorder and they dont have a replacement to send me right now. I am still waiting on them to call back with when I will see a replacement unit. This is really aggravating because this was the first fishing trip for this unit that was a replacement for another unit that failed a month earlier that had an hibernating issue.
