Okay...Sonar...

It is time to pick a new sonar unit for my new war Eagle 542. I want to spend from 1-400 on a unit. I have already had the Lowrance mark 5x and disliked it very much. I thought my Eagle 480 was a much better unit. I even called Lowrance on the phone while on the water last winter and they could not get the 5x to pick up my jigging spoon on the screen. I want to be able to see it fall in real time to schools of fish...How about some input...Thanks...i have heard good things about the new Garmin and Humminbirds...

Any unit on the market should be able to see a spoon. My X96, 520 and HDS-7 can all see both minnows and the sinker on a Kentucky Rig or a 1/16th ounce jig.
