Default Killed Minn Kota Edge 70# 24V motor Need help !!!!

I warped the shaft on my new 70# Minn Kota edge 24 Volt trolling motor.Took it apart tonight I need armature, seals and bushings. Just want it right. Where is the best place to buy parts in Alabama or near here. What is the torque on the two bolts hold the motor together. any other sugestions would be greatful. Cub48

Why you need all that stuff for a broke shaft?

I bent the prop shaft it sheared the prop pin messed the seals up. took the armature out tonight to see how big of job it was i want new seals and gasket just to make sure it don't leak. Cub48 PS turned motor on with it strapped down, prop was hitting the boat. Was going to turn it in to insurance was a big joke 500.00 deductible with 250.00 after that on assesories. In other words if you have a 800.00 trolling motor they pay 250.00 and you lose 550.00. I was with the understanding my assesories was under a 200.00 deductible. I will be doing something different when it comes due. Cub48

Thanks Guys I took it apart last night everything looks like it won't be a problem. I ordered parts from Minn Kota today they were as cheap as i found and they should be Minn Kota parts. Order all seals and gasket and a new armature. Only thing i will need is the torque specs on the two bolts that hold it all together and if you put anything on the seals. Thanks again Cub48
