Default Si transducer mount at bow?

I did a search to answer my question but with no luck!

was wondering if anyone has mounted and HB SI transducer or any other SI TD to anything other than a trolling motor on the bow.something manufactured or homemade.mainly to keep the TD from turning when the TM is turned.something to keep the TD parallel with the bow of the boat and able to take in and out of the water like the TM?would this even be a good idea?

    thanks

    Z

I got this on my Jon boat 997 transducer. Made it out of MG cradle. Deploys and retrieve like a troller. One inch pvc works fine. Wobbled a little over 1.5 mph, so I added a trim skeg. Works fine.

I liked it so much, I installed it on my new Crappie Jon. It is convenient. Hanging a Xducer on the power drives is a PIA.
