Default Where do you mark your structure?

When using sideimaging and you see a tree at an angle, where do you place the waypoint? On the trunk, at the end, both?

Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

I mark my waypoints at the bottom center, but it shouldn't matter where you mark it up and down, as long as you have it centered on it.

You might prefer to mark each end too.

I find my waypoints are more accurate if I mark the structure where it meets the bottom of the lake....

And this hold true for me when marking on the unit itself or marking them in Humviewer.....

I mark at both ends, kinda triangulate so I can remember the way it lays.
