I just hooked up a 220D 2 bank on brand new Bats. The Bats checked at 12.7 volts when i put them in. When I plugged charger in The yellow lights came on for a few minutes,. then went to flashing yellow they been flashing for 5 hrs. How long does it take to turn green.
These were almost fully charged new Bats. Its a 10 amp per bank charger How long would it take on discharged bats? I would think if they had 12.6 volts when put in it shouldnt take more than an hour or two

The batteries were fully charged at 12.7 volts. If you were to unplug the charger and wait about 30 min that 13.4 volts will drop to 12.7 volts. Its considered a surface charge and does not last. The flashing yellow light means a bad connection or bad battery. I would use the batteries then try the charger again. If it still does it give MK a call. 800-227-6433

BB they are both brand new bats. A steady yellow comes on first till 75% charge then drops voltage Flashing yellow for rest of charge. Then flashing green.when fully charged

Finally turned green after 7 hr. I think this is a long time on fully charged Bats. Any one else have one that can confirm?

The flashing yellow indicated the charger was in the second stage, known as absorption. This isn't a very fast mode and the current falls off rapidly, so I wouldn't be surprised that it took a while.
What kind of batteries are they?
